Vegas Robaina
Cigars
 The
tobacco for this brand is grown
exclusively in the world-famous
Vuelta Abajo by Pinar del Rio,
and is grown on one of the last
Cuban Vegas in private hands
since 1845, namely the
Vega
Robaina, and watched over with
tender loving care by the living
legend
Don Alejandro Robaina.
Almost 90 years old, he still
personally visits his fields
daily to control the quality of
his tobacco. As a true
connoisseur and idealist,
Don Alejandro’s satisfied
countenance embellishes each box
of
Vegas Robaina.
 The
Vegas Robaina cigars are rather
strong. The sweet, creamy note
is extraordinary. The
aficionado seldom describes it as spicy or
scratchy; the
Vegas Robaina is
harmonious and “well balanced”.
The workmanship is very good and
the filler blend maintains a
high standard. It is surprising
that Don Alejandro’s exceptional
cigars have not (yet) reached
the popularity of
Cohiba
or
Montecristo. Perhaps it is just
the leisurely pace of
development which is reason for
the high quality of the
Vegas
Robaina cigars! We can truly
recommend all five sizes in the
