Saint Luis Rey
Cigars
 The
label
Saint Luis Rey was established shortly before World
War II. Rumor has it that the
name of this brand refers to the
book "The Bridge of San Luis
Rey" by Thornton Wilder, which
was extremely popular at that
time. More probable, however, is
that this label’s name was
dedicated to the city of San
Luis, which is located in the
heart of the tobacco growing
region of
Vuelta Abajo, where
the excellent wrapper leaves are
cultivated. What ever the truth
may be, the cigars of
Saint Luis
Rey enjoy an outstanding
reputation among cigar
Aficionados.
Saint Luis Rey cigars flaunt a
full-bodied and a wonderfully
cedar, leather, peppery-spiced
aroma, which is accompanied by
humid-earthy notes. The
Saint
Luis Rey is a very refreshing
and harmonious cigar. Already
well-rounded on the first draw,
this
Habano’s
bouquet develops
into a full, typically Cuban
taste: elegant and expressively
strong. Don Cigarro especially
recommends the
Saint Luis Rey
Serie A
and the
Saint Luis Rey
Regios.
