Romeo Y Julieta Cigars - love story and legend
Named after
William Shakespeares’s tragic
love pair, the origins of the
label
Romeo y Julieta go back to
the Year 1875. This brand
achieved world fame in the early
20th Century under the guidance
of Don “Pepin” Fernández, a
talented businessman, who was
the first to produce
personalized cigar rings. Sir
Winston Churchill was a sworn
admirer of the
Romeo y Julieta,
and as a homage to this great
statesman, the
Churchill format
was created. The harmonious and
aromatic leaves of the Vuelta
Abajo region make
Romeo y
Julieta Cuban Cigars one of the classics of
the moderately-strong category.
Like
Partagas
or
Punch,
Romeo y Julieta offers
a very broad selection of over
40 types of cigars. Romeo y
Julieta understood how to do
justice to the constantly
changing tastes and desires of
their customers by creating
innovative tobacco blends again
and again. There is a format for
every cigar-lover: From the mild
Cedros De Luxe No. 1,
No. 2 and
No. 3, and through the stronger
Cazadores,
Churchills and
Belicosos, to the aromatic
fruity
Exhibicion No. 3 und
Exhibicion No. 4. In the mild
range, Don Cigarro recommends
the following: the Cedros De
Luxe No. 2, No. 3 and
Exhibicion No. 4. For the
connoisseur there is the
legendary
Romeo Churchill, a
strong, intricately-woven and
earthy/nutty cigar, a
traditionally enjoyable cigar in
the classically Cuban style. For
an “occasional” smoke, there are
the
Mille Fleurs, Très Petit
Corona, and the
Petit Princess
which we highly recommend.
