Ramon Allones Cigars
Ramon Allones
is one of the great names in the
rich history of the
Havana
cigar. This label was created in
1837, and is thus one of the
oldest of the Habano brands
which are still manufactured
today.
Ramon Allones, born in
Spanish Galicia, was the first
manufacturer to pack his cigars
in boxes which were decorated
with an inscription and a
stylized emblem or logo. He was
the pioneer of today’s packaging
methods, also credited for
developing the clever
8-9-8
presentation. By the way, the
Coat of Arms adorning
Ramon
Allones cigar boxes is that of
the House of the King of Spain.
The
Ramon Allones assortment is not
as extensive as that of
Partagas or
Romeo y Julieta, however, it
does include some of the most
sought after
Vitolas. The
Allones cigars can be described
as having an homogeneous, earthy
and full flavor.
Allones are a perfect cigar to end a good meal
as they exhibit an extravagant
as well as a differentiated
character.
Don Cigarro particularly recommends the
Ramon Allones
Specially
Selected, as well as the
Ramon
Allones
Gigantes, their
intensive earthy-leathery aroma
unites with a distinct
spiciness. As an apéro-cigar, we
warmly recommend the
Ramon
Allones Small Club.
