Juan Lopez Cigars - on of the oldest Cuban labels

A Spanish businessman by the name of Juan Lopez Diaz created this brand in the 1870‘s. Even though it is not very prominent today, Juan Lopez has always enjoyed a following among Habano-lovers. The assortment offers a consistent taste, based on a rich leaf mixture from the region of the Vuelta Abajo. With it’s moderately strong flavor, a Juan Lopez cigar satisfies the connoisseur of the “Cigarros de Cuba”.

Juan Lopez, one of the oldest Habanos-brands, produces only five formats world-wide. Probably the two most popular are the Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 1 and the Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2. Both are excellently rolled, exhibiting a leathery-earthy flavor, underlined with notes of pepper and vanilla – a classic Cuban taste as described in text books. In addition, the Juan Lopez Corona is a cigar that is enjoyed by many.
