Fonseca Cigars - Sortiment und Charakteristik
“...
because all
Cuban cigars are strong...”
The
Fonseca contradicts this
statement; it is sweet-and-mild
and creamy. Founded in 1891 by
F. E.
Fonseca, and ever since
then, this company has, over the
years, faithfully produced fine
mild, well-made cigars with the
distinctive “Cuban taste”. Five
formats are available.
Particular to the
Fonseca is that each cigar
is individually tissue-wrapped,
thus making this brand
unmistakable. Incidentally,
Francisco E. Fonseca is
credited as being the inventor
of the metal tube in which many
cigars are sold, and which,
today, is more commonly called a
“Tubo”.
The
Fonseca cigars are rolled
well and always exhibit good
draw and burn. Delicate,
earthy-woodsy aromatic flavors
accentuate a full, soft, honest
Cuban taste with little spice,
which is well-suited to the
Fonseca. We recommend the
Fonseca
Cosacos and the
Fonseca
no. 1.
