1882, after 30 years of
tradition in the manufacturing
of
Puros,
Ramon Allones (at that time
Antonio Allones), decided to
create a completely new brand of
the highest quality for an upper
price segment. As a result, the
completely immodest
El Rey del Mundo, in English
“The King of the World” was
born. The
El Rey del Mondo is a mild
to moderately strong
Habano of a first-class, uniform quality,
which rightly deserves it’s
royal name.
 The
characteristic of the
El Rey del
Mundo can be described as
sweet-as-honey, and with a
creamy mildness, which is never
opulent, not even in the large
formats. The “King of the World”
is a cigar for the lover of a
rather reserved, harmonious and
balanced Cuban taste, and is
ideal for the novice to the
world of the
Habano taste.
